This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working to set processes, maintaining consistent output, and ensuring high product quality throughout each shift.
Role Overview
As a Food Production Operative, you will work as part of a team on a continuous production line, ensuring products are prepared, packed, and processed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working on a moving production line, following set speeds and workflow requirements
- Adhering to all standard operating procedures and food safety regulations
- Picking, packing, and preparing products for dispatch
- Operating production machinery safely after full training
- Conducting visual quality checks and completing associated paperwork
- Removing defective items from the line to maintain product standards
- Reporting equipment or production issues to supervisors or maintenance staff
This role requires the ability to maintain focus, accuracy, and consistency while working in a structured, process-driven environment.
Shift Pattern
7am-7pm or 7pm-7am Weekly rotation
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience on a production line or in food manufacturing (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working at pace
