We are looking for a reliable CNC Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment. If you are confident working with mild steel, enjoy precision work, and take pride in quality output, this could be the role for you.
What you will be doing:
- Operating and setting up CNC press brake machines for daily runs
- Moving materials to welding bays (manual handling or hand truck)
- Using cranes and plate grabs to move materials safely
- Operating a guillotine to cut parts ready for bending (to specified dimensions)
- Reading and interpreting drawings and work orders
- Editing programs at the machine when required
- Performing tool changes based on thickness and bend radius requirements
- Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools to ensure spec compliance
What we are looking for:
- Experience operating CNC Press Brake / cutting machinery
- Understanding of tooling and mechanical processes (advantageous)
- Able to work at height when required
- Comfortable using manufacturing software
- Good attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality
