What You Will Do

  • Carry out dimensional inspection of precision machined components using CMM equipment
  • Create and run inspection programs using PC DMIS or similar software
  • Complete first off, in process and final inspection checks
  • Produce clear inspection reports to support quality documentation
  • Work closely with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and maintain process accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement across the quality function

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience as a CMM Inspector within a precision engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD & T and measurement principles
  • Ability to write and edit CMM programs
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
  • Confident using a range of manual inspection tools including verniers, micrometers and height gauges
