Overview
GI Group are currently recruiting for 2 x HGV Class 2 drivers for our client in Falkirk who supply and deliver fresh & frozen foods across the North. This is a temp to perm role.
Shifts
- 48 hours per week (including Saturday work)
- 6 days / 4 days weekly rotation
- Job & Knock (Min 8 hours paid)
Pay
- £16.77 per hour for all hours
- Pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay
Main duties
- Conducting vehicle checks
- Delivering fresh & frozen food to popular UK restaurants
- Deliveries using pallet truck with some handball
- Up to 15 deliveries per shift
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
Driver requirements
- A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
- Hold a valid, in-date Tachograph & CPC
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 6 months experience
