Job Description
Gi Group are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers for immediate starts.We are looking for Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work.* 0700 starts* Monday to Friday* Average 9 hour shiftPay & Benefits:- £18.18 per hour* Please note that pay rates include holiday payMain Duties will include:- Ensuring vehicle walk around and checks are completed before your shift- 10-15 deliveries per shift- Liaise with your Drivers mate to check correct orders fulfilled- Securing loads- Handball- Unloading when arriving at Customer premises – Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are metThe Candidate:- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills- Presentable with a keen eye for detail- No more than 6 penalty points (No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes will be accepted- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC – Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements – Have good customer service skills- Willing and able to lift up to 20kg- Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 2 DriverTo apply, please call our office on , or email Drivers & logistics professionals wanted for temporary & permanent vacancies text "DRIVER" before your name, location and driving licence category to 88802
