We are recruiting a permanent Class 1 RORO Driver for a well-known processor and recycler of waste in the UK. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team as an experienced HGV1 Driver. Day work only with Monday to Friday first shift.
Working Hours: 06:00 to 16:00 (46.25 hours per week). Some weekend work is available with prior notice.
Pay: £18.22 p/h
Main Duties:
- Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins, travelling between clients and operational sites
- Follow driving routes provided by the Transport Department
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager immediately
- Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Park all vehicles at the end of each day
- Keep the cab of the lorry clean and tidy
- Maintain regular contact with the transport manager, yard managers and weighbridge operators at each site
Attributes and Experience:
- Class 1 Driving Licence (minimum 2 years)
- Must hold a Driver CPC Licence
