Job Overview
Gi Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the world’s leading parcel delivery networks.
Drivers shifts: We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
Shift Details
- Starts on-the-spot
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available
- Average 12 hour shift
Pay & Benefits
- Monday to Friday: £22.08 per hour*
- Saturday: £26.35 per hour*
- Sunday: £29.41 per hour*
*Pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Trunking work to depots
- Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritise workload to meet time commitments
Qualifications & Requirements
- A presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points; no DD IN DR DN TT endorsement codes
- Valid, in-date Tachograph & CPC
- Good customer service skills
- At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
