GI Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the world\’s leading parcel delivery networks.
Driving Shifts
- Afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis (Apply online only)
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available
- Average 12 hour shift
Pay & Benefits
- Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
- Saturday: £25.94 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
- Sunday: £28.95 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
Main Duties
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Trunking work to depots
- Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritise workload to meet time commitments
Requirements
- Presentable appearance, attention to detail, positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points; no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsements
- Valid, up‑to‑date tachograph and CPC
- Good customer service skills
- At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
