Class 1 Driver – Slough SL1

Pay: £21.29 – £31.94 / hour (Weekly Pay, includes holiday pay, PAYE)
Hours: Full-Time (up to 15 hours/shift)
Shifts:
Monday to Friday
* AM Shift: 02:00 – 06:00
* PM Shift: 16:00-01:00
Join Gi Group and work with one of the UKs leading parcel delivery companies. Out client provides domestic and international deliveries for high-volume business customers.
Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver
1. Load / unload freight and secure loads
2. Complete scheduled deliveries and collections (varied parcel weights)
3. Ensure accurate completion of documentation
4. Perform vehicle checks and report defects
5. Work efficiently to meet deadlines
What you\’ll need as a Class 1 Driver
1. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
2. Minimum 2 years Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
3. Max 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)
4. DBS check required
5. 5 years of work / education history (for security clearance)
6. Reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and safety focused.
