INTOO supports organisations through change with high quality outplacement, career transition and coaching solutions. We’re growing our commercial team and hiring a Business Development Executive to build new relationships and drive revenue across the UK and Ireland, with a strong focus on London and the South East.
This is a consultative role with a clear new business emphasis (c. 80% new business / 20% account growth) - ideal for someone credible with senior HR stakeholders and motivated by building pipeline and winning work.
The role – what you’ll be doing:
- Creating and delivering a focused BD plan to achieve agreed revenue targets
- Proactively generating new leads and opportunities (you’ll receive some leads, but you’ll be expected to open doors)
- Selling primarily outplacement/career transition solutions, with scope to grow into coaching and broader services over time
- Engaging stakeholders such as CPOs, HRDs, Heads of HR, COOs and MDs across the UK & Ireland
- Owning the sales process end to end, discovery, solution shaping (with delivery), proposal, commercials, close and handover
- Managing and expanding key accounts to drive repeat business and increased “wallet share”
- Working with Marketing on campaigns, events and conferences; building brand presence through networking and social channels
- Using Salesforce to manage activity, pipeline and forecasting
- Tracking market/competitor insights to inform conversations and service development
What we’re looking for:
- Proven consultative B2B sales experience (ideally 5+ years) in professional services / people solutions / HR related services
- A consistent track record of new business development and pipeline creation
- Confident and credible with senior HR decision makers
- Strong planning, organisation and commercial discipline (including forecasting)
- Exposure to outplacement / coaching / career transition / assessment / HR services is advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent written and spoken English; high attention to detail
Location / travel:
- Home based, covering UK & Ireland
- We’d ideally like someone based in the South East (London/M25/M4 corridor—Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire) to support client activity and growth in our key region
- Some national travel required and occasional international exposure may be possible longer term
