A global communications provider is seeking qualified British Sign Language Interpreters to join its permanent Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) team. These home-based roles support Deaf and hearing service users across NHS, local authority and wider public-sector settings.
The Role
- BSL-English interpreting - Deliver accurate, professional interpretation between BSL and spoken English via live video calls.
- Public-sector communication - Facilitate communication for NHS, local authority and wider public-sector appointments.
- Professional standards - Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and consistently high practice standards.
- Remote working - Work from home within a structured Monday-Friday schedule (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays).
Mandatory Qualifications
- Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) status
- Registration with NRCPD, RBSLI, or SRLPDC
- Evidence of formal BSL-English interpreting training
- Strong, demonstrable experience delivering high-quality BSL/English interpretation
- Reliable home working setup suitable for professional VRI delivery
