About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Yard Driver with a valid Counterbalance Forklift (B2 category) certificate to join our operations team in Aldridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving and managing heavy goods up to 15,000 kg using a counterbalance forklift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a B2 category counterbalance forklift to transport, load, and unload materials in the yard
- Ensure safe handling of large, heavy loads (up to 15,000 kg)
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintain clear and accurate records of stock movement
- Adhere to site safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift B2 licence (essential)
- Proven experience handling loads up to 15,000 kg
- Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work day shifts in Aldridge
