British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter (RSLI) - Remote Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) | Permanent Salary: £45,000 per annum (full-time) + benefits (pro rata for part-time) Location: Fully remote/home-based - anywhere in the UK Hours: Full-time and part-time (set shifts available) Clients/Sector: NHS, Local Authorities & wider Public Sector We're recruiting a fully qualified Level 6 BSL/English Interpreter (RSLI) for a permanent, fully remote Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) service. You'll provide accurate, impartial interpreting on live video calls, supporting Deaf and hard of hearing service users across the UK in healthcare and public sector settings. What you'll be doing * Interpret BSL ↔ spoken English on live video appointments (on-demand VRI service) * Support a wide range of interactions including NHS and local authority appointments * Work to the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, safeguarding and impartiality * Operate within a Monday-Friday service (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays) Shift patterns available Full-time (1 vacancy): * Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (excluding bank holidays) Part-time (1 vacancy): * Wednesday 12:30pm-4:00pm * Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm * Friday 8:00am-4:00pm * Alternative hours may be considered for the right candidate.
