About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their high-performing team within the Protein Diagnostics Division. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of world-class diagnostic products that drive global healthcare progress. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the organisation's reputation for innovation, precision, and excellence.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work in a laboratory-based manufacturing environment, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within a manufacturing laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
- Support workload management and planning activities to meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with cGMP requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and always uphold safety practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and digital literacy skills.
- Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Competence in using computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Practical understanding of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to chemical hygiene protocols.
- Manual handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kilograms.
Education & Experience
- GCSE level education (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience, OR a relevant degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related fields.
- Prior cGMP experience is desirable.
