Our client, a leading organisation within the Protein Diagnostics sector, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician II to join their Operations team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the production of world‐class diagnostic products that support global scientific and medical advancement.
You will be joining a passionate and high‐performing manufacturing team, where your work will directly support the delivery of innovative, reliable, and industry‐leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage your own workload independently in line with the production schedule.
- Maintain and manage inventory to ensure materials are available and accurately transacted.
- Take ownership of scheduled activities for designated equipment, work areas, or operational functions.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and workflows.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and "right first time".
- Undertake any additional duties reasonably required to support operational needs.
GCSE‐level education or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience or a relevant degree.
Experience RequiredMinimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory work, or a related environment. Preferred: Experience working in a cGMP environment and managing workload effectively.
Skills & Competencies- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident IT user, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn new processes quickly.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
