Gi Pro are proud to be working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for an experienced CNC Production Supervisor / Cell Leader to join their growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong CNC knowledge and proven leadership or supervisory experience to take ownership of a busy department, driving performance, quality, and lean manufacturing.
The Role:
As CNC Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in making sure the department is running smoothly. You'll be hands-on in leading a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting CNC operators
- Planning the workload and leading shift briefings
- Monitoring the machine output and efficiency
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding new staff
- Driving a strong safety culture and maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards
- Coordinating with the maintenance team to keep machinery in top condition
We're looking for a proactive and organised leader with:
- Strong background within a CNC machining environment
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets
- Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Strong ability to work towards and meet key production targets under tight deadlines
- Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety regulations
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
What's on Offer:
- Stable and permanent position
- £15.24 to begin with it rising after probation
- Day shifts: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
