We have a new opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join a well-established manufacturing company, working in Basingstoke. The Inside Sales Representative would support revenue growth through inside sales and help to increase sales volume.
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Bonus
Hours: Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:00 | Friday 09:00 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inside sales activity in line with commercial objectives, including customer segmentation, prioritising inbound vs. outbound opportunities, growing existing accounts, cross-/up-selling, and acquiring new customers through inside channels.
- Handle customer communications by phone, email and web, responding promptly to enquiries, sample requests, quotations and contracts; liaise closely with field sales and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to product launches by communicating value propositions, pricing and supporting materials to customers, in partnership with Product Management and R&D.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management and technical teams to share market/customer insights, support strategic accounts and input into territory and segment plans.
- Monitor and report individual performance against sales KPIs (revenue, margin, lead conversion and pipeline) and customer satisfaction, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Maintain CRM discipline by keeping pipeline data up to date, ensuring customer records are accurate, and using CRM tools to manage opportunities efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Chemistry (preferred), or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Proven experience in inside sales and/or a commercial role.
- A strong track record of meeting inside-sales targets, managing quotation and order pipelines, and supporting continuous process improvement.
