Location: GSK Barnard Castle
Pay: From £19.73 p/h to £22.80 p/h
Shift Patterns: Early, Lates and Night 37.5 hrs a week (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am); Double Days 37.5 hrs a week (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm); 12 hrs shifts – 4 on 4 off (days 7am-7pm & nights 7pm-7am)

Responsibilities:
- To set up and operate a range of Filling and Packaging machines.
- Input bar codes, laser prints & make up print blocks.
- Perform in process control testing throughout production.
- Perform Line Cleaning, Line Clearing and Line Clearance checks of Packaging/Filling machines and work areas.
- Complete batch documentation correctly according to Procedure, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) & Safety standards.
- Assess component usage prior to batch end to reduce waste.
- Resolve a problem if you have good understanding of the issue.
- Responsibility to produce product to the required standards.
- Perform batch checking.
- Hand Packing.
Candidate Skills:
- IT literate – Ability to use in house computer systems competently.
- Comfortable working in a Team.
- Able to use their own initiative – Our client readily welcomes and encourages staff to provide suggestions on ways their role can be improved.
Required: GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
