We have a new opportunity for General Operatives to join a well-established metal recycling company, working in their Wokingham site. This is a hands-on general operative role, dismantling parts, wrapping, loading and unloading working in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £31,668 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 & every other Saturday 08:00-16:00 (43.5 hour working week).

Key Responsibilities of a General Operative:
- Wrapping - basic computer use, picking and packing wrapping eBay orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading, lifting and shifting parts/metals around the yard
- Dismantling parts ensuring attention to detail and H&S standards adhered to
- Decontamination - using various machinery to ensure all liquids/fluids drained from vehicles prior to scrapping
