Job Description

Banqueting ChefOur Basingstoke Based client are looking for an experienced Banqueting chef to join their team. Salary Up to £35,000 per annum Benefits Staff discount 10% service charge tip income Pension Free on site parking Sick pay 28 Days HolidayDuties Carry out excellent customer service. Review customer feedback and work to improve where needed. Food preparation- cook dishes and ensure food is of high quality Acknowledge and manage budgeted financial targets. Record food temperature checks. Manage operating costs for department. Work alongside the head chef to support staff i.e. training, developing and motivating. Assisting with ensuring profitability of food operations. Ensure all stock is in line with Food safety requirements. Comply with all health and safety requirements, carrying our risk assessments, ensuring all staff are trained accordingly. Skills Previous experience as a Banqueting chef Ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills Ability to build team relationships Experience working in a venue that has a capacity of 350 people Excellent understanding of food regulations and health and safetyIf you are interested, please call our branch on or apply online today!
