The Role
As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke parts using machinery. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with a variety of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and maintain punch press machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and tool changes
- Conduct quality checks on finished components
- Assisting with other departments such as assembly deburring
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience operating a punch press machine in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Confident with tooling and machine set up
- High attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
