A growing UK manufacturer is seeking a talented Design Office Manager to join its dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing products, improving processes, and delivering bespoke design solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and improve product designs to meet customer, budget, and manufacturing requirements.
- Manage your own workload and ensure alignment with customer approval and production schedules.
- Support the ongoing development of systems and working practices within the Design Office.
- Liaise with customers via phone and email to ensure requirements are fully understood and delivered.
- Produce bespoke design solutions for site-specific projects.
- Work collaboratively with factory team leaders to ensure smooth production processes.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD.
- Ability to innovate and problem-solve with confidence.
