My client a large international organisation are looking to increase their logistics staff, they are looking for experienced Freight Administrators to join their logistics team
- Ayr location
- Full time hours (40hrs)
- Temporary to permanent
- Good Office Experience
- Must have Driving Licence, may (may be required to drive company vehicles)
- Freight Administration advantage

Preparing Documents: Create bills of lading (a receipt for shipped items), manifests (list of cargo on a vehicle), and invoices.
- Tracking Shipments: Use software to trace orders. Provide regular updates to customers.
- Managing Bookings: Schedule pick-ups and drop-offs with shipping lines and transport companies.
- Customs Compliance: Prepare and check customs clearance paperwork to follow international shipping rules.
- Communication: Answer phone calls and emails from clients and drivers to resolve delays
- Organization: Must handle multiple shipments and paperwork at once.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using logistics software, CRMs, and spreadsheets.
- Communication: Clear and calm talking to drivers and angry customers.
- Attention to detail: A small mistake in a number can delay an entire truck
