GI Group are recruiting Drivers to support ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics company based in South Killingholme.
Role Overview
- Location: South Killingholme
- Pay: 12.71- 13.46 per hour (shift dependent)
- Shifts: 7am-4pm, 12pm-9pm and 9pm-6am on rotation (subject to site needs and role)
- Days: Monday to Saturday - weekend availability is essential
- Type: Ongoing assignments, dependent on site volume
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and relocate vehicles around the compound and between compounds on site
- Follow instructions from team leaders to ensure vehicles are parked correctly
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Work on foot around the compound - this role involves regular walking
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Licence held for a minimum of 24 months
- Maximum of 3 points on licence (subject to endorsement codes)
- Minimum age 22 (insurance requirement)
- Confident driving a range of vehicles (electric, manual and automatic)
- Strong attention to detail and safety focused
- Reliable, flexible and able to work the full shift pattern
- Own transport due to the remote location
