Gi Group are looking for an experienced Class 2 tipper driver for afternoon shifts for a well-known company in Nuneaton.
Location: Nuneaton
Pay: £17.93 including holiday pay (PAYE, no umbrellas)
Shifts and Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Start times: 12:00-14:00
- 8 hours guaranteed per shift
Role: This role consists of multi-drop delivery work consisting of food waste collection. The driver loads, transports, and tips food waste materials using a rigid vehicle, typically a specialised food waste tipper. Duties include collecting waste from commercial premises, ensuring safe loading and operation of the vehicle, complying with driving regulations, and disposing of the collected waste at designated sites. This temporary position provides training on the job. The driver must be confident in completing vehicle checks and required defects paperwork.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid UK Class 2 licence with at least 1 year of experience
- Have CPC and digi card in date
- No more than 6 points on licence; speeding only – no other endorsements accepted
- Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
- Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure
- Available to work 45‑55 hours per week
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; attention to detail essential
- Willingness to work with animal by-products
