The predicted salary is between 13.5 - 16.5 £ per hour.

Location: Ware / Stanstead Abbotts

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Hours: Mon-Thu: 8:00am-5:00pm & Fri: 8:00am-2:30pm (hours may change in 2026)

Contract: Temporary Ongoing

The Role

We're recruiting an experienced Assembly Technician to assemble and test electro-mechanical products, including servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies. You'll work to technical drawings, complete functional testing, and troubleshoot and repair faults to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components in line with technical drawings and specifications
  • Build electro-mechanical assemblies including servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation and functionality
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults; report issues and escalate where required
  • Identify and replace defective components to maintain output quality
  • Carry out basic equipment and tooling checks/maintenance
  • Work safely at all times, following health & safety and quality procedures

What You'll Need

  • Experience in an assembly/production environment (electro-mechanical preferred)
  • Confident using hand and power tools (e.g., T-bars, Allen keys, screwdrivers)
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings/specifications
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and clear communication
