We are looking to recruit an Assembly and Test Fitter for our client specialises in the repair and manufacture of metal bearings, seals, deflectors, and other rotating equipment, dedicated to providing a superior aftermarket service, optimising the performance of their client’s machines.Assembly and Test Fitter:The main purpose of this role is work as a team on the shop floor to perform overhauls on various turbine ancillary equipment, ensuring all repairs are completed on time and to the highest standards.Responsibilities:* Perform repairs and maintenance on gas turbine components, including stationary repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment* Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team.* Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and company procedures.* Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports.* Use of specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider, drive bench/pump.* Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience:* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related field/experience.* Good solid hand skills.* Ability to read technical instructions/drawings.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.If you have relevant training and experience as Assembly and Test Fitter – please apply.
