GI Group are now seeking to appoint an Apprenticeships Skills Tutor (Mechatronics) to our public sector client based in Rotherham. The Apprenticeship Skills Tutor (Mechatronics) would support and enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and tutoring. They will manage a caseload of Engineering apprentices and will be required to design and deliver highly inspirational teaching sessions.

Main Duties of the Apprenticeship Skills Tutor:

  • Design, develop and deliver highly inspirational teaching sessions to learners towards the knowledge, skills and behaviours within the health standards.
  • Provide coaching and skills support through developmental feedback to ensure successful timely completion of End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Support the development and progression of a caseload of apprentices through onsite workplace visits in the creation of showcase evidence such as observations, reflective accounts, witness testimonies, professional discussions and any further evidence to support EPA requirements, this evidence will be documented within the e-portfolio OneFile.
  • Vocationally relevant qualification at level 3 or above.
