We're recruiting on behalf of a leading retailer for a Warehouse Goods Out / Dispatch Assistant Team Leader. You'll support the Team Leader with day-to-day goods out admin and coordination, ensuring all orders are dispatched accurately, on time and to agreed service levels. Some flexibility is required around peak periods and team holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee packing and dispatch to ensure all SLAs and customer standards are met
- Monitor next-day and Evri orders, chasing progress and escalating any issues
- Allocate tasks at the start of the shift and monitor team performance and KPIs
- Produce and analyse stock reports from WMS (PVX, Futura) and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor and review bulk/pick locations and daily top-ups
- Ensure accurate handovers between PM and AM shifts, including IBT spreadsheets
- Support with goods-in put away where required
- Complete and submit incident and accident reports when necessary
- Manage and respond to email and Teams queries appropriately
Key requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse / goods out / dispatch environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Confident motivating and supporting a team
- Comfortable using handheld terminals (Windows CE and Android)
- Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Physically fit - role involves regular lifting
- Forklift licence or willingness to be trained
