Join a busy Business Development team in a customer-focused trade environment. This role blends new business support with account retention - qualifying leads, following up quotes, and helping to grow spend across existing accounts.

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum

Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Andover

Key responsibilities of a Sales Support Person:

  • Make outbound calls to qualify leads and book appointments for field sales representative
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of prospects with agreed next steps
  • Manage accounts as the main point of contact, increasing spend
  • Follow up quotations and spot upsell opportunities
  • Monitor lapsing accounts and support retention activity to prevent churn
  • Track competitor activity and support regional growth initiatives
  • Keep CRM records accurate and produce reports on retention, tier movement and revenue contribution
