We have a new opportunity for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Andover. This role is key to the smooth running of the Production department and assisting the company in moving forward and maintaining on-time deliveries to our Customers.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:15 | 08:00-16:00

Key Responsibilities of a Production Technician:
- Build products using parts kits from Stores, following build notes, wiring diagrams and drawings.
- Build sub-assemblies using parts kits from Stores, following the latest instructions and drawings.
- Test all units before packing (including units from subcontractors). This may involve basic maths and using charts/tables.
- Update and improve build notes for new and existing products.
- Carry out workshop tasks where trained/experienced (e.g., lathe, milling, soldering, brazing).
- Complete ECO (Engineering Change Order) and CAR (Corrective Action Report) forms.
- Suggest improvements to products and processes to improve quality, build and reliability.
- Work efficiently to deadlines and follow instructions from your line manager.
- Complete test sheets, packing lists and fit units.
