The predicted salary is between 35000 - 43000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in maintaining plant performance, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
What you will do:
- Carry out planned maintenance and complete essential repairs to keep the factory operating effectively.
- Provide electrical maintenance cover with fast and efficient response to plant breakdowns across the site.
- Support ongoing process improvement by developing new ideas and better solutions.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and production teams to help diagnose and resolve faults quickly.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IMS and CMMS systems.
- Apply TPM tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement throughout the factory.
- Report to the Engineering Team Leader and ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
What you will bring:
- A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification (Advanced Apprenticeship, BTEC, City and Guilds or NVQ).
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills on industrial plant and equipment.
- Experience designing, drawing and reading electrical diagrams.
- Competence in replacing and programming frequency inverters, motor controls and safety circuits.
- A high level of health and safety awareness.
