Rates of Pay:

  • Monday to Friday - £17.37 inclusive of your holiday pay.

Shifts and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday - no weekends!
  • Start Times: 05:00 am
  • 10 hours guaranteed per shift

Location: Warwick

This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham and the other surrounding areas.

GI Group are recruiting 7.5T Drivers for a position with our client based in Warwick. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. The 7.5T Driver will be placed on a temporary contract, working Monday to Friday until Easter 2026.

The Role:

The 7.5T driver position is due to run until Easter. Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys, and this position may include some multi-drop runs (up to 12 per shift). This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job. The 7.5T driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

The perfect candidate:

  • Will hold a 7.5T / LGV C1 licence entitlement with 6m experience
  • Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
  • Previous HGV work experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
