The Role
GI Group are recruiting 7.5 T Driver for a position with our clients based in Warwick. The ideal candidate will be placed with our well-established client. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. The 7.5 T Driver will be placed on a temporary 12 week period between Monday to Friday.
This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury Southam, Kenilworth, South East Birmingham and the other surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- The 7.5 T driver position is due to start in September, running until Christmas. Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 10 per shift).
- This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job.
- The 7.5 T driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
Requirements / The Perfect Candidate
- Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
- Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
- Previous HGV work experience is preferred, but not essential
- Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
