Gi Group are looking for an experienced Class 2 tipper driver for afternoon shifts for a well-known company in Nuneaton. The role is based in Nuneaton.

Pay and Hours

  • £17.93 including holiday pay (PAYE no umbrellas)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times 12:00-14:00
  • 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Role

This temporary position involves multi-drop delivery work, collecting food waste from commercial premises, loading, transporting, and tipping food waste materials using a specialised food waste tipper. The driver is responsible for safe loading and operation of the vehicle, compliance with driving regulations, and disposal of waste at designated sites. The driver will receive on-the-job training and must be able to perform vehicle checks and complete required defects paperwork.

Requirements

  • UK Class 2 licence, 1 year of experience minimum, no more than 6 points on licence, speeding only, no other endorsements accepted
  • In-date CPC and digital card
  • Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
  • Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Available to work 45-55 hours per week
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; attention to detail essential
  • Able to work with animal by-products
