Join Gi Group as a Class 1 Driver supporting one of the UK's biggest supermarkets. This isn't just seasonal help; we are looking for professional drivers for a long-term partnership. You will play a vital role in keeping the nation fed by delivering to stores and petrol stations across the region.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Rates: Starting from £17.27 - £25.30 per hour (depending on shift).

Role Responsibilities
- Store Deliveries: Completing 1-3 deliveries per shift using pallets and cages.
- Fleet Flexibility: Operating Class 1 vehicles primarily, with occasional Class 2 work (always paid at Class 1 rates).
- Operational Excellence: Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
- Customer Service: Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at store bays.
Shift Patterns
- Start times between 0700-2300
- Average shift length of 10-12 hours with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours paid.
Requirements
- Licence: Valid Cat C+E (Class 1) for a minimum of 6 months.
- Experience: At least 6 months of active Class 1 driving.
- Compliance: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards; maximum 6 minor points (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN/TT offences please).
- Flexibility: Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation.
