Contract Packer Service Hand - Loughborough

Our client, a leading partner for contract packing services in the UK, is looking to expand their team with dedicated and motivated contract packer Service Hands at their Loughborough location.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM, 30-minute unpaid break

Pay Rates: £12.71 per hour - £17.16 per hour, Paid holiday on your birthday after completing 12 weeks of continuous employment

Responsible for:

  • Coordinating with warehouse staff & supervisors to ensure components and stock are prepared and managed correctly, using a pump truck safely
  • Maintaining organised storage of products and packaging within the designated area
  • Supporting team performance to optimise output and maintain a positive working environment
  • Ensuring quality and output and assisting colleagues when needed to meet targets
  • Following H&S and company policies and carrying out additional duties as required
  • Keeping warehouse clean, tidy and safe
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational and health and safety procedures, rules and schedules
  • Treating merchandise and company property with care and concern at all times

All employees must work flexibly to support the Peak Season and as such their hours of work may be variable for periods of time to meet business needs. All employees will be trained across all functions in order to multitask giving flexibility of employment. All employees will be expected to work to agreed quality and accuracy levels whilst achieving hourly production rates.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast moving Packing environment is helpful
  • Attention to detail
