Forklift Counterbalance Driver (PM Shift) - Lichfield WS14
We're recruiting a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy operation in Lichfield. This is a great opportunity for someone confident on a counterbalance truck who takes pride in safe, accurate handling to minimise damage to stock and equipment.
Pay rate
- £15.00 per hour
Shift pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00pm - 2.00am
Key responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, store and pick stock safely and efficiently
- Loading containers correctly to maximise space and ensure secure, compliant loads
- Working accurately to reduce risk of damage to stock, racking and equipment
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 12 months’ counterbalance forklift experience (essential)
- Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care
- Experience using long fork attachments (highly desirable)
- Good understanding of container loading / space optimisation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a PM shift
Please note this role is 70% Forklift, 30% general warehouse helping with wrapping and preparing parcels for dispatch, keeping areas tidy etc. 'in-house' certificates cannot be accepted
