HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with our well-known Haulage client delivering Palletised goods. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the UK for many years, becoming a highly recognised and respected business within the Transport sector.
About the job:
- 3 - 8 drops per day of pallets.
- Use of PDA Machine is required.
- Handball may be required from time to time.
- National & Local deliveries are expected.
- AM starts normally between 04:00 - 07:00 AM.
Requirements and skills:
- You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
- Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, upbeat, self-motivated and resilient – are welcomed in this role.
- Will have a minimum of 6 months Class 2 experience.
- Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
- You must have good geographical knowledge.
