Production Operative

Production Operatives / Packing Operatives required for a cat food Production Facility in Slough.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Slough and we are looking for experienced Production Operatives.

Shifts & Pay:

• Monday – Thursday at 8am – 4pm & Friday 8am – 1pm at £12 per hour
• 37 hours per week.

Duties will include:

• Picking and Packing computerised orders in a timely manner
• Making and packing boxes
• Loading and unloading boxes into the lorry
• Moving pallets and product and scanning to the correct locations
• Heat sealing packs
• Using a hand scanner to ensure correct products are picked and packed correctly
• Preparing all packs and boxes for dispatch
• Quality checking produce – ensuring it is correct and of the highest standards expected
• Maintain a food-safe sanitary environment at all times

Skills/Physical Requirement/Environment:

• Manual handling knowledge. Regularly lift and/or move 25kg\’s
• Regularly required to walk, stand, push
• Regularly exposed to work near packed meat products
• Excellent attention to detail
