Day shifts – working 5 days out of 7 on a Rota basis, must be happy to work weekends

Our client based in Derby are looking for a MIG TIG Welder to join their team on a Permanent basis. This is a full-time position in a well-established company who manufacture products for the rail industries. This welder role is 60% shop floor and 40% working away. Accommodation and expenses are paid for whilst working away.

Welder Job description:

1. MIG, MAG and TIG Welding
2. Work with gauges 2mm – 4mm
3. Work on various components that make up train cabs
4. Working from engineering drawings
5. General housekeeping
6. Working to targets
7. Accommodation and expenses paid for whilst working away

Essential Skills and experience:

1. Skilled MIG TIG and MAG Welder
2. Must have basic fabrication experience
3. Confident positional welding including overhead and vertical positions
4. Flux core experience would be advantageous
5. Must be able to work from engineering drawings

MIG TIG Welder Package:
Pay: £17.60 per hour
Day shifts – working 5 days out of 7 on a Rota basis
Overtime paid at a premium
