Class 2 Day driver

Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Salary: £13.50 – £16.25
Shifts: Monday – Friday, AM & PM Shifts Available

Job Description

HGV 2 Driver required for a position with our well-known client.

We have a prestigious company that has operated in the UK for many years, becoming a highly recognised and respected business within the Transport sector.

What type of candidate are we looking for?

1. The candidate must hold a clean full UK Driving Licence.
2. The candidate must hold a valid tachograph and have full CPC training.
3. The ability to work in a team.
4. The HGV driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
5. The candidate must be actively seeking ongoing work.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. ADR Licence Preferred.

About the job:

1. 5 – 10 drops per day.
2. Varied deliveries, from pallets to supply products, multidrop.
3. Handball may be required from time to time.
4. National & Local deliveries are expected.
5. AM starts normally between 06:00 – 07:00 AM.
6. PM starts normally between 17:00 – 19:00 PM.
