Our client, a leading vehicle body repairer based in Leeds, Yorkshire, have an exciting opportunity for a Panel Beater. Offering an excellent working environment with a growing company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools to remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle panels.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
  • Weld panels together and perform metal shaping techniques to restore the vehicle's structure.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • ATA or equivalent.
  • Aluminum Manufacturers training for Land Rover or Tesla or VW Group is desirable.
