We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer to join our team, working on Triumph Controls machinery. This is a hands-on role, producing high-precision sheet metal components primarily for Aerospace, Oil and Gas, and Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and program CNC press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal components according to precise engineering drawings.
- Select appropriate tooling and materials for each individual job.
- Conduct quality checks using verniers, micrometres, and gauges to ensure parts meet tight tolerances (0.025mm).
- Work with a wide range of metals including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, titanium, nickel alloy, copper, and brass.
- Produce custom, made-to-order components, including a high volume of one-off items.
- Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
- Proven ability to operate and program CNC press brake machines.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings.
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work.
- Solid understanding of various metal types and forming techniques.
- Basic computer skills for programming and job tracking.
