Press Brake Job Description:
- Manufacturing a variety of fireplaces and stoves for both outdoor and indoor use
- Setting and operating a press brake machine independently
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Working on Bystronic press brake machine
- Working with a variety of metals including stainless, aluminium and mild steel
- Calculating angles for folding
- Quality checking own work
- General house keeping
Press Brake Essential experience:
- Must be confident setting and operating press brake machines
- Bystronic experience preferred but will take candidates with Amada or Trumpf experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Must be able to use measuring tools
- Competent at maths to calculate angles to fold metals
- Able to use hand and power tools
- Experienced working with metals including steel and aluminium
