We are hiring Part Time METER READERS in your postcode now!\\n\\nRole: Meter Reader (gas and electricity only) – no experience is required\\n\\nDo you like working in an active outdoor role? If the answer is yes, then this could be the role for you.\\n\\nAs a Meter Reader you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electricity meters for both commercial and residential properties. You will update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device, also entering the details on a handheld device at each location and providing excellent customer service.\\n\\nWhat we offer:\\n\\n£12.60 – 13.85 per hour basic pay (weekly payment)\\nWeekly Hours 15- 20 hours a week.\\nShifts available: either in the evenings Monday -Friday (15:00-19:00 or 16:00-20:00) or at weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 08:00-17:00).\\nWeekly Bonus scheme with earnings up to £200 weekly.\\nOvertime rates at manager's discretion.\\nBusiness expenses reimbursed at 05 pence per mile.\\nCompany pension enrolment.\\nNo previous experience required.\\nProgression and promotion opportunities for higher earnings.\\nUp to 28 days holiday per year.\\nFull uniform and PPE provided.\\nFull training will be provided.\\nDouble pay on Bank Holidays \\n\\nWhat you will need to apply\\n\\nEssential requirements for the role: \\n\\nUK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points\\nPhysically fit and have no issues with bending in tight spaces, kneeling, climbing stairs, crouching, and walking on average 3-4 miles a day.\\nHappy to work in all weather conditions.\\nClear DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions)\\nPrevious Customer Service experience (preferred not essential)\\nAccess to your own vehicle\\nBusiness insurance \\n\\n Duties:\\n\\nRetrieving data from domestic, commercial, and industrial sites for Water, Gas and Electric Meters, full training will be given.\\nCarry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment.\\nCharge Point Surveys.\\nDrive and motivation to work in an independent role.\\nFriendly personality with a professional approach to work.\\nAdhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.Training:\\n\\nTraining is 1 week and will be both classroom-based and field-based with an experienced meter reader, so you get to see the job through a professional's eyes.
