Job Role: As the Engineering Team Leader, you will be an inspirational leader of a multi-disciplined engineering team, who role models our clients core values at all times. Delivering the highest standards of health and safety, sustainability, cost control and multi-machine availability, whilst driving improved efficiencies in maintenance activities. Typical Duties will involve: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Foster a culture where the health, safety, and wellbeing of colleagues are the top priority. Ensure all direct reports understand and adhere to statutory obligations, company policies, and procedures at all times. Monitor the progress of SHE Assure actions for the team. Assist in developing Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Risk Assessments (RA). Conduct reviews of Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOP). Perform perimeter inspections. Audit safety and machine checks.Leadership Provide visible leadership and engage the team to create and embed a culture of high performance and development. Plan and implement training and development, including recruitment and succession plans, to build a flexible, effective multi-skilled team.
