Field Service West London Area Monday - Friday (Days) Salary: £53,000 to £59,000 pa + Overtime

A rare and excellent opportunity has come to work as a Mechanically Biased Plant Engineer/Fitter and to join a market leading industrial business in the London area. You will also be required to cover the Kent and Essex areas from time to time. The business is currently going through a fantastic period and therefore need to recruit extra Plant Fitters to cope with the increased projects. This is a great chance for the right Plant Engineer to join a business that invests in its engineers and provides excellent training and development.

Job Role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all plant equipment on site. The engineering management provide a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.

Skills required for the Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer:

  • Plant Fitter to be strong mechanically on plant machinery.
  • Plant Fitter to have experience working in a plant environment.
  • Plant Fitter to be highly competent in their field.
  • Strong mechanical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, industrial machinery.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment as an engineer.
  • Machinery knowledge working with Excavators, ADTs, Telehandlers and 80 Rollers.
  • Minimum qualification NVQ Level 2.
