Driver - Vehicle Ferrying (Ongoing Work)
Location: Stallingborough
Pay: £12.91-£25.82 per hour (dependent on shift)
Shifts: 08:00-20:00 (12-hour shifts)
Contract: Ongoing, part time (subject to site volumes)
GI Group is recruiting Drivers to support vehicle ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics client based in Stallingborough.
The Role
You will be responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently across the site and between compounds. Your duties will include:
- Moving vehicles within the main compound and between on-site compounds
- Driving a range of vehicles, including electric, manual and automatic
- Using handheld scanners when required
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage immediately
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- A full UK Category B driving licence
- Held your licence for a minimum of 24 months
- No more than 3 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
- Be aged 22+ (for insurance purposes)
- Confidence driving manual, automatic and electric vehicles (essential)
- A strong eye for detail and a safety-first approach
- Flexibility to work weekends when required
- Your own transport due to the site location
