Our client in Sittingbourne is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is an extremely physical role where you will be required to lift, move and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis by hand.
Salary and Benefits
- £13.96 per hour
- Monday to Friday 05:30 - 14:00 and 13:30 - 22:00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
- Sittingbourne, Kent
- 28 days holiday
- Weekly pay
- Full training and PPE is provided
The Role
- Working independently as well as within a team
- Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
- Working within the yard directing incoming traffic
- General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
- Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section
Skills and Attributes Required
- Ability to always work as a team member and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance
- Good timekeeping/reliable
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn on the job skills for progression
- Self-motivation
